Gestalt Partners with BaseVoice: Leverages Telecomm Technology for Projects in Defense

BaseVoice SIP-based technologies provide backbone for Gestalt to build a convergent Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) for high-risk tactical services

The partnership gives Gestalt access to BaseVoice's commercially used Session Initiated Protocol (SIP)-based technologies which will provide the framework for Gestalt’s Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) capabilities in the Department of Defense. By leveraging the same infrastructure employed in the telecommunications industry, the relationship enables Gestalt to deliver more advanced peer-to-peer collaboration and a richer set of interaction types required for today’s military battlefields.

Additionally, the BaseVoice SIP platform supports the ready integration of voice collaboration into the SOA command and control environment.
